Temp work placement assistant gardener self employed
Working 1 day a week (flexible - can be weekend or weekday) on temporary basis until October 2025; likely to offer extension as needed. Helping to create a permaculture garden from scratch, using organic principles, including a forest food garden, mixture of landscaping, clearing existing under growth, creating swales/new beds, planting and setting up rain water supply/storage/irrigation. Integrating chickens and potentially ducks into the permaculture scheme. Establishing a small pond/water feature. Working in a large domestic garden near South Downs in Saltdean. Own transport an advantage though bus route within 10 mins walk of property/can collect from coast road. All tools/equipment provided. Suit student looking for work experience.
