Course Overview
Course Description
The handle of a tool is just as important as the blade or head—it's the point of contact that determines comfort, control, and safety. A well-made handle not only enhances the performance of the tool but also extends its lifespan. Whether you're restoring an old tool, replacing a broken handle, or simply looking to personalize your equipment, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to create high-quality tool handles.
You will leave with a deep understanding of the materials and methods used in traditional handle making, along with the confidence to tackle future projects on your own. Make someone a present for Christmas or gift the course to someone for an early present.
Course Fees
Students aged 24+ who are studying a second Level 3 course or aged 24+ who are studying their first Level 3 course will have to pay tuition fees, depending on the course.
Students on low income who can prove they earn less than £25,000 (from September 2024); are unemployed; or receive state benefits could be entitled to a tuition fee waiver.
