Course Overview

The RHS Level 2 is awarded to those who successfully complete two core certificates:

  1. RHS Certificate in Practical Horticulture
  2. RHS Certificate in Principles of Plant Growth and Development

This theory-based qualification provides a solid foundation in the science behind horticulture, focusing on the principles that support professional horticultural practices and techniques. It’s a great way to gain a deeper understanding of how plants grow and thrive.

Entry Requirements

An existing horticultural qualification is strongly recommended or related industry experience.

 

Funding Information

Students aged 19+, on low income who can prove they earn less than £25,750 or are unemployed and receive state benefits could be entitled to a tuition fee waiver for this course. Students must be ordinarily resident in the UK and not living in a devolved area.
