This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented gardening team at Polesden Lacey, one of Surrey’s most iconic 70-acre gardens. From the stunning Rose Garden to sweeping views across the Surrey Hills, you’ll help care for and shape a nationally important landscape that inspires thousands of visitors every year.
As a hands-on Gardener, you’ll be right at the heart of the action — planting, pruning, mowing, restoring and maintaining beautiful spaces to the highest standards. You’ll work with professional machinery, support volunteers, engage with visitors, and contribute to exciting restoration projects that are transforming this historic garden.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, skilled horticulturist with practical experience, machinery confidence and a real passion for plants and teamwork.
