The Oaks Poultry Farm, Ditchling, is a well-established, family-run farm shop looking for an experienced and passionate butcher to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high-quality, locally sourced produce in a friendly, supportive environment where traditional butchery skills are valued and pride in craftsmanship really matters.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing, cutting, and presenting fresh meat to a high standard

• Producing sausages, burgers, and other value-added products

• Serving and advising customers with care and confidence

• Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards

• Supporting stock control and display of counter products

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in butchery (essential)

• Strong knife skills and product knowledge

• Friendly, customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work well as part of a small team
