Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, caring and responsible colleague to assist our experienced team of vet nurses and vets at our busy practice in Wadhurst.

 

The role will include:

 

- Care of in-patients (preparing kennels, feeding, assisting nurses during anaesthetic recovery).

- Cleaning and restocking public and clinical areas.

- Cleaning and sterilising surgical kits.

- With experience and training, assisting nurses in the hands-on care of patients, for example holding for injection.

 

Although this is not an RVN training position this role would suit a candidate interested in training as a veterinary nurse in the future. Experience in a veterinary and/or animal care environment would be an advantage. The hours offered are open to discussion.
