Description

Self-employed gardener looking for a reliable assistant to support regular garden maintenance work.

This is a physical outdoor role: lifting, weeding, barrowing, clearing, digging, basic pruning support, sweeping/tidying etc, in all weathers. You’ll be working alongside an experienced gardener and following a clear task list.

Hours:

- Zero-hours / casual basis

- Mainly weekday mornings (4–6 hour blocks)

- Extra hours available in spring/summer

Pay: Rates are dependant on experience and reliability

You must have:

- good fitness / able to do physical outdoor work

- punctuality, reliability and a positive attitude

- ability to work independently once shown what to do

- ideally own transport (Eastbourne area)

Nice to have:

- some horticulture/gardening experience
