Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you want to be part of a team that empowers students to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential? If so, we’d love to hear from you! 

The Role: 

As a Key Learning Mentor, you will: 

• Provide specialist support for students with SEND, helping them develop personal, social, and employability skills. 
• Work closely with Student Services to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. 
• Assist students in accessing welfare and counselling services, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed. 
• Act as a key point of contact for students, liaising with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies. 
• Support intervention work, attendance, retention, and student progress. 

What We’re Looking For: 

Essential: 

• Experience working with young people with SEND. 
• Strong pastoral, welfare, and/or safeguarding experience. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• IT proficiency and a minimum Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy. 

Desirable: 

• Specialist knowledge in SEND, SpLD, or health-related student support.
