Plumpton College is seeking an ambitious and industry-connected professional to lead and shape our new accelerated degree within Rural Land.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing and delivering a specialist higher education programme aligned with professional standards and employer expectations. About the Role
As HE Programme Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective management, quality assurance and delivery of the Rural Land accelerated degree. You will:

Lead and manage the programme in line with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) requirements

Coordinate module delivery and support the teaching team

Oversee quality assurance processes, including internal verification and moderation

Support recruitment, outreach and employer engagement

Provide academic leadership and contribute to the wider Higher Education strategy
Alongside programme leadership, you will deliver high-quality teaching through lectures, seminars, tutorials, fieldwork and online delivery. You will design and assess engaging assignments, supervise dissertations and integrated projects, and provide personalised academic support to students.
This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on teaching and mentoring.

Essential:

Degree (or substantial relevant professional experience)

Membership of RICS (MRICS, FRICS or AssocRICS)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching

Experience contributing to curriculum development
Desirable:

Higher degree (MSc/PhD) in a relevant discipline
-
Membership of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV)

Experience teaching in Higher Education
-
Postgraduate teaching qualification and/or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy

Experience working collaboratively with industry partners
