Are you passionate about maintaining high standards in the kitchen and contributing to a positive team environment? Plumpton College is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic Catering & Hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food service and preparation, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing pots, pans, and plates.
  • Comply with food hygiene standards, ensuring appropriate clothing and footwear.
  • Support functions requiring catering outside regular working hours.
  • Undergo food hygiene and handling training as needed.
  • Ensure courteous interactions with students, staff, and visitors.

About You:

  • You are proactive, professional, and able to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
  • You have a positive attitude and can maintain cleanliness and order in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining high food hygiene standards and treating everyone with respect is essential.
