Description

At Plumpton College, we live our values—Ambitious, Professional, Enterprising, Progressive, Passionate, and Supportive—in everything we do. As we continue to grow and innovate, we’re looking for motivated and proactive Curriculum Administrators to play a key role in the smooth running of our curriculum provision.

The Role

Working closely with curriculum managers and academic teams, you’ll provide vital administrative support to a designated subject area while also contributing to wider college initiatives. Whether you’re managing student records, liaising with parents, tracking attendance, or coordinating cross-college projects and events, your efforts will directly impact the success of our students and the efficiency of our academic operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work both within specific subject teams and across the college—bringing variety, collaboration, and real purpose to your role.

This role would be on a casual basis to support the team up until the end of the academic year, ideally two to three days per week. This role would be predominantly based in our Agri-Food department.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the main point of contact for course-related queries from students, staff, and parents.
  • Supporting academic teams by monitoring attendance, tracking student concerns, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinating key administrative tasks and documentation for trips, events, and external activities.
  • Collaborating across departments to support quality and consistency in all curriculum administration.
  • Playing an active part in college-wide initiatives and events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills.
  • A collaborative, professional attitude with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems.
  • The ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and care.
