Nationally recognised for our outstanding apprenticeship provision, the college has seen significant growth in apprentice numbers over the last five years. To support the continued growth, we are looking for an exceptional Apprenticeships Manager to oversee all aspects of the College’s apprenticeship delivery, from point of enrolment and onboarding, through to successful completion, ensuring excellent outcomes for apprentices and their employers. 

This diverse role, based at our main campus will be suitable for an individual with experience of delivering and/or managing apprenticeship programmes, strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding compliance, and designing employer responsive programmes. You will be confident in working with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, a creative thinker with an eye for detail who recognises the importance of providing a high level of customer service.  

You'll play a critical role in aligning curriculum and employer expectations, driving funding compliance, and delivering outstanding apprentice outcomes from onboarding through to completion. This is a dynamic opportunity for a collaborative, organised, and experienced individual ready to champion excellence and innovation in technical and vocational education. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality apprenticeship experiences. 

  • Overseeing apprentice lifecycle management – from onboarding to completion. 

  • Ensuring full compliance with funding regulations and quality assurance standards. 

  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs via data dashboards and digital tools. 

  • Driving consistency and improvement through internal systems like e-portfolios and SharePoint. 

  • Collaborating across departments to enhance programme delivery and employer engagement. 

  • Chairing apprenticeship-related meetings and leading strategic initiatives across the College. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Experience in managing or delivering apprenticeship programmes. 

  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding compliance, and quality frameworks (EPA, IQA, EQA). 

  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Robust IT and data literacy, with experience using systems such as ProSuite and e-portfolios. 

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field. 

  • GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above or equivalent). 

Desirable (but not essential): 

  • Experience working with Awarding Organisations. 

  • Familiarity with the land-based education sector. 

  • Understanding of GDPR and safeguarding practices.
