Depending on the role, the assessment may include a CV and experience-based interview, competency-based interview, a role-related task or, for academic positions, a short microteach session. For some roles, we may also hold an initial screening call, depending on the level of interest in the vacancy.

Welcome to Plumpton
You’ll receive a supportive induction and onboarding experience from the moment you accept our offer. You’ll stay in regular contact with our HR team and, on your first day, meet fellow new starters, your team and learn more about the College and its sites.
During your first four months, you’ll have regular meetings with your line manager to support your transition and identify any training needs. Our Induction+ programme combines induction and probation, giving you the opportunity to meet Senior Leaders and learn more about the work of the College.
