We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Farm Worker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a modern fleet of machinery across a progressive farming operation. Experience is preferred, but we are also happy to consider enthusiastic younger applicants who are keen to learn and develop their skills.

 

 

The Role:

You will be involved in a wide range of day-to-day farming activities, including operating modern agricultural machinery and carrying out seasonal work throughout the year.

 

Responsibilities include:

Operating a modern fleet of agricultural machinery

Driving a John Deere 6250R tractor

Operating a Kramer 457 telehandler (telehandler certificate preferred but not essential)

Slurry tanking

Baling

Cultivation work

Drilling

Grass and maize silage operations

Winter work including hedge cutting and general farm maintenance

Assisting with other general farm duties as required

Stock work (Aberdeen Angus suckler herd)

 

 

What We're Looking For

 

The ideal candidate will be:

 

Reliable and dependable.

Punctual and committed to turning up for work on time.

Proactive, able to think ahead and work using their own initiative.

A good team player with a positive attitude.

Experienced in agricultural work (preferred), although we will consider less experienced candidates who are willing to learn and work hard.

A telehandler certificate is desirable but not essential.

 

Salary & Benefits

 

£12.71-£25 per hour, depending on experience.

Paid on an hourly rate, with farm working hours.

Accommodation available – one-bedroom studio flat.
