Description
Farm hand on a small holding with sheep, cows, pigs, ducks and chickens. Work involves mucking out, restrawing, feeding, checking water, helping administer worming treatments/antibiotics etc and assisting with lambing. Work starts when cattle come in for winter (end October approx) and ends when lambing finished (end May approx). 3 hours (9am to 12 pm) on Monday, Thursday , Saturday, Sunday. Will be willing to consider someone for 2 of those days. We are happy to provide basic training but individual must be happy around cows and a bull, pigs and sheep and be prepared to do dirty and sometimes quite physical work.
