What is it like to be a student on this course?

Throughout the course, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing hydrotherapy facilities, exploring sustainable working practices, health and safety, treatment planning, clinical risk assessment, patient monitoring and emergency response. By recognising your existing knowledge and experience, this bridging qualification provides a streamlined route to achieving Level 4.

You’ll spend one day a week on campus, combining classroom learning with practical sessions in our hydrotherapy suite, working with canine patients in both the pool and underwater treadmill.

Alongside this, you’ll join a half-day of online learning from home and complete around three hours of flexible independent study each week, giving you the opportunity to fit your learning around work and other commitments.
