Plumpton College is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Registry Administrator (Exams) to join our Registry and Exams team. This is a key role supporting the accurate administration of examinations and student data, ensuring a consistent, compliant and high-quality experience for learners across the College  

About the role 

Reporting to the EAG and Registry Manager, you will work closely with the Exams Officer, curriculum teams and external Awarding Bodies to manage exam entries, registrations, results and associated data. You will also provide flexible administrative support across the wider Registry function, contributing to audits, enrolments and compliance activity as required  

Key responsibilities 

  • Process exam entries, registrations, and results using ProSolution and Awarding Body systems 

  • Ensure compliance with JCQ and Awarding Body regulations at all times 

  • Support exam scheduling, including rooming, invigilation, and access arrangements 

  • Maintain accurate exams-related data, ensuring appropriate evidence is retained for audit purposes 

  • Provide advice and guidance to curriculum teams on registrations and exam processes 

  • Support the recording of results, distribution of certificates and learner communications 

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to learners, parents, and staff 

  • Provide flexible administrative support across Registry, including enrolments, timetabling, and audits  

What we’re looking for 

You will be methodical, proactive and confident working with complex data in a regulated environment. You will also demonstrate: 

  • A Level 3 qualification in IT, Business Administration, Customer Service or a relevant subject 

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above 

  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems 

  • Proven experience of accurate data input and administration 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • A positive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively  

Experience within an educational environment, use of ProSuite/ProSolution, timetabling, or working with Awarding Organisations (e.g. Pearson or City & Guilds) would be advantageous but is not essential  

Working pattern 

Core hours are 08:30–17:00, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required, including occasional evening or weekend working to support College events. This is an all-year-round role
