Description

Our Dog Grooming Department is thriving — and we’re growing! As part of Plumpton College’s specialist land and environmental education provision, we’re proud to deliver outstanding dog grooming training and services from our beautiful One Garden Brighton site.

The One Garden Brighton Dog Grooming Parlour is a fully equipped, professional salon designed to welcome dogs of every size, breed, and coat type — and their devoted owners — for the very best in grooming care. Here, we combine industry-leading grooming expertise with a nurturing, educational environment. Our team of qualified groomers works alongside trainee students (on set days), providing an exceptional standard of service while supporting the next generation of grooming professionals.

We’re now looking for experienced and ambitious Dog Groomers to join our friendly, professional team and play an integral role in shaping the continued success of our commercial grooming operation.

About the Role

As a Dog Groomer with us, you’ll:

  • Deliver a full range of high-quality dog grooming services in a modern, fully furnished studio.

  • Work collaboratively with a team of qualified professionals and students to ensure every dog leaves looking and feeling their best.

  • Contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere for clients and their pets.

  • Be part of a growing, forward-thinking grooming provision with opportunities to influence and develop new ideas as the service expands.

About You

You’ll be a City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified dog groomer with at least two years’ experience in a professional grooming environment. You’ll bring:

  • A passion for animal care and grooming excellence.

  • A professional, organised, and creative approach to your work.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of people — from clients to students.

  • A flexible, can-do attitude and confidence using IT systems.

  • A genuine commitment to the values of equality, opportunity, and collaboration that underpin all we do at Plumpton College.

Why Join Us?

At Plumpton College, you’ll be part of a supportive, ambitious organisation with a genuine passion for animal welfare, education, and growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded grooming team, work in a beautiful setting, and play a role in developing both a thriving business and future industry professionals.

If you’re a skilled dog groomer who takes pride in your craft and enjoys working as part of a motivated, caring team — we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and be part of something special at One Garden Brighton.
