Course overview
Where productive gardening meets beautiful design. Learn how to create a
potager that is as ornamental as it is productive.
A potager garden combines vegetables, herbs, fruit and edible flowers
with the principles of ornamental garden design. The result can be highly
productive while also providing colour, structure, texture and seasonal
interest.
These two one-day courses explore how to design a beautiful and
functional edible garden, considering layout, crop selection, succession,
companion planting and the visual qualities of edible plants.
Course 1 (March) will explore a theoretical approach to
integrating edibles into your garden. Course 2 (June) will have
a more practical approach. Both courses are best completed to ensure a full
understanding.
