Welcoming NFU President, Minette Batters

We were delighted to welcome National Farmers' Union, President Minette Batters to Plumpton College.

Minette met students and took a tour of recent investments at Lambert Farm, including robotic milkers, £1.2m pig unit and new land and environment courses starting in 2023, including degrees in sustainable agriculture, horticulture and T Level for Agriculture. Minette met students studying Level 3 Agriculture, Apprentice Butchers and Degree Wine students, who spoke to Minette about their studies, challenges and opportunities in the industry and found out more about the NFU.
