New Parent/Guardian Webinar to Support Online Learning and Student Wellbeing

Sent via email - 13th January 2021
Dear Parent/Guardian
In order to help us continue to work together for the benefit of your son/daughter, we will be running live parent webinars next week to provide guidance for parents and or guardians regarding our online learning platform and student wellbeing.
Our Principal, Jeremy Kerswell will give a brief introduction and a welcome to you all, then you will hear from our Learning Technology Manager, Steph Heath who will go through some helpful support and guidance on how to use and understand our learning platform, Microsoft Teams.
Additionally, we will hear from Andrew Wright, our wellbeing specialist who you may have heard of with our ’12 Rocks of Wellbeing Programme’. Andrew will be giving some insight on how students and parents can achieve and strive for positive wellbeing during the latest national lockdown changes and throughout the adapted academic year.
At the end of each session there will be a chance to ask questions about online learning and accessing Microsoft Teams. Please note that if you wish to ask questions regarding specific course related matters, do continue to liaise closely with your son or daughter’s personal tutor or progress coach.
We hope you can attend one of our live sessions. Click the links below to join 5-10 minutes before on your chosen session.
Tuesday 19th January – 5pm – 6pm
Thursday 21st January – 5pm – 6pm
Kind Regards,
