Lucy Partridge is currently studying on the Foundation Degree in Agriculture. She entered the RABDF Farm Health Management Award sponsored by Metacam as part of the farm animal health and welfare module, which forms part of her programme. Entrants were required to write an essay focusing on health planning and management. The judges commended Lucy for her emphasis on a team approach to animal health. Lucy was invited to attend the presentation at Livestock 2012, where she was awarded the runner up prize by Boehringer-Ingelheim Vetmedica’s Allan Henderson and RABDF chairman, David Cotton.
