Course Overview

The smell of freshly baked pastries coming out of the oven, the aroma drifting up the stairs, what a way to start the day!

Become a master of pastries with this hands-on workshop where our expert tutors will teach you the art of laminating dough as you create beautiful buttery layers of enriched dough.

You will learn to make and take home your own classic croissants, rich pain au chocolate, and fruity pain au raisin.

We will then look at various shapes and styles of Danish pastry, and you will also learn how to make crème pâtissière and various glazes to finish your pastries with.

Who is a one day workshop suitable for?

A One Day workshop is an experiential day for individuals with limited to no knowledge of the area being covered.  It is a fun social unaccredited course that could be suitable to be given as a gift or to join in order to meet likeminded people.

Course Fees

Students aged 24+ who are studying a second Level 3 course or aged 24+ who are studying their first Level 3 course will have to pay tuition fees, depending on the course.

Students on low income who can prove they earn less than £25,750 (from 1st August 2025); are unemployed; or receive state benefits could be entitled to a tuition fee waiver.
