Course Overview

Looking to kickstart a career in floristry? Our Level 2 Introduction to Floristry course is designed for complete beginners or those with some experience who want to gain a formal qualification in this creative craft. Perfect for aspiring florists, sole traders, or those wishing to work from home, this course provides the essential skills to start your floristry journey.

Learn key floristry techniques, including conditioning flowers, creating hand-tied bouquets, and presentation gift wrapping
Understand the principles and elements of design to create stunning floral arrangements for all occasions
Get an introduction to wedding and sympathy floristry
Build a portfolio of work showcasing your designs and complete assignments that will be assessed for your qualification

By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and confidence to work in a florist shop, start your own floristry business, or create beautiful floral designs from home.

Studying a Level 1 or Level 2 Part-Time Course?

Tuition could be FREE

If you are unemployed and in receipt of state benefits, or if you are working and your income is under £25,000 (from September 2024), you may be entitled to financial support towards your tuition fees. Applicable to Level 1, 2 and 3 Part-Time Courses

For courses starting in 25/26 Academic Year: to secure your place on one of these courses, a non-refundable course reservation fee of £50 will be required upon application. This fee will secure your place on the course and includes a facilities fee towards the cost of running the programme.
