Introduction to Floristry
NCFE Level 2 Creative Craft
Learn about the basics of floristry and build a budding career with our Level 2 Introduction to Floristry course.
A 1 day a week course for complete beginners or those with a little experience, who wish to obtain a creative craft qualification. Perfect if you're a sole trader, or wish to work in a florists or from home.
The programme covers basic floristry skills including:
- Conditioning techniques
- Principles and elements of design
- Basic hand tied bouquets
- Presentation gift wrapping
- Floral designs for all occasions and an introduction to wedding and sympathy work
You will complete a portfolio of work which includes photographic evidence of your completed designs and some assignment work. Your portfolio will be assessed by external moderators for the qualification.

Course fees - £650 (The course fees could be free*) *If you are unemployed and in receipt of state benefits or working and your income is under £20,319 you could be entitled to financial support towards the course fees . The materials fee will not be covered and will need to be paid by the applicant. |
