9 May 2026Open Day & Spring Fair is back — and 2026 is our biggest celebration yet!
Join us on Saturday 9 May 2026, from 10am – 5pm, as we mark the 50th anniversary of Open Day & Spring Fair, taking place during the centenary year of Plumpton College — that’s 100 years of excellence and lots to celebrate!
Bring your family, friends, dogs and kids for an unforgettable day packed with countryside charm, hands-on fun and feel-good festival vibes. This much-loved event is run by Plumpton College and takes place across our breath-taking 800-hectare campus nestled in the South Downs National Park, featuring:
- Department demonstrations
- Local food and wine tastings (including produce from our Plumpton Estate)
- Craft & trade fair from talented local creatives and artists
- Course & career advice
- Dog show
- Fun fairs
- Farm displays
- Activities for children
- Vintage motor showcase
- Equestrian displays
- …and plenty more to celebrate our anniversary to discover on the day!
A complimentary, first-come, first-served shuttle bus service will be running from both Hassocks and Lewes train stations throughout the day.
Tickets are just £10 each, with concessions available - great value for all of the family.

Current and prospective students are welcome at our Open Day & Spring Fair, for free - you will still need to reserve a ticket. Please book using your Student ID number when checking out your order.
We typically welcome over ten thousand visitors each year, so we look forward to seeing you there!
