Following the success of previous Baker's Roundtable Events last year, and the incredible response from our local bakeries and industry bodies, we're excited to invite you to our third-ever Baker's Roundtable Event this February!

When: Tuesday 27th February, 2024  |  5 - 8pm

Where: AgriFood Centre, Plumpton College

Details: Fantastic networking event for bakers and business owners. Free to attend with complimentary refreshments provided, freshly baked by our apprentices

Held within our stunning new AgriFood Centre featuring a state-of-the-art training kitchen, you'll meet Anthony Gaston, our Bakery Programme Manager, and have the opportunity to view our fantastic bakery facilities for yourselves.

This event is supported by the Craft Bakers Association and the ABST, and aims to cover the following topics courtesy of our brilliant guest speakers:

  • Welcome from Anthony Gaston, Bakery Programme Manager, Plumpton College
  • Guest speaker Derek Hooper, EDI Trainer, and talk from Brandon Wolfe, Plumpton College EDI Lead
  • Guest speaker Alastair Gourlay, Real Patisserie, Business Recycling
  • Talk from Alex Waterfield, Grounds & Gardens Manager, Plumpton College, on sustainability and how recycling can impact a business
  • The chance to learn about our new Level 3 Bakery apprenticeship


Expect a lively and informal evening and a great opportunity to share ideas and network with others in the bakery industry and media.
