Following the success of our inaugural Bakers Roundtable event earlier this year, and the incredible response from our local bakeries and industry bodies, we're excited to invite you to our second-ever Bakers Roundtable event this September!
Held within our stunning new AgriFood Centre featuring a state-of-the-art training kitchen, you'll meet Anthony Gaston, our Bakery Programme Manager, and have the opportunity to view our fantastic bakery facilities for yourselves.
This event is supported by the Craft Bakers Association and the ABST, and aims to cover the following topics courtesy of our brilliant guest speakers:
- Duncan Glendinning, Shipton Mill - Ingredient sourcing and provision, the benefits of local buying, and food partnerships.
- Sam Francis, FDQ Ltd - How our new Level 3 Bakery Apprenticeship works and how it could benefit your business.
As our event will run during 'Sourdough September', the refreshments provided will include delicious homemade sourdough products.
This is a great opportunity to share ideas and network with others in the bakery industry and media.
