12 February 2026 09:00 - 11:00

This event is designed to bring together local agricultural engineering and land-based engineering employers to review and help shape the future of our Level 3 Agricultural Engineering Technician Apprenticeship, which is being developed in partnership with employers across the sector.

On the day, employers are invited to contribute their views and requirements in order to help shape the Level 3 Agricultural Engineering Technician Apprenticeship prior to its launch in the 26/27 academic year to enable employers’ to inform the programme for the benefit of their businesses. This will provide an opportunity to contribute to the practical impact of the apprenticeship in working engineering environments.

The session will include a guest talk from VTS Solutions, highlighting the use of TEXA diagnostic equipment within modern agricultural engineering. This will showcase how current industry-standard diagnostics and technology are being integrated into apprentice training to meet evolving employer needs.

The roundtable is also aimed at employers who may be interested in learning more about the programme. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Inform how the apprenticeship will work in practice at Level 3
  • Gain insight into modern diagnostic technologies used in training, including TEXA equipment
  • Ask questions and explore whether the apprenticeship could work for your business
  • Help shape and influence the future content of the apprenticeship programme

This will be an informal, practical discussion, and your input would be extremely valuable in ensuring that planned training meet the real needs of the agricultural engineering industry.
