Forest School

Set in beautiful Stanmer Park at One Garden Brighton our Forest School training introduces practitioners to a child‑centred, outdoor approach to learning that supports wellbeing, confidence and lifelong skills. Training focuses on understanding the ethos and principles of Forest School, rather than delivering a fixed curriculum, enabling leaders to respond flexibly to the needs and interests of their learners. 

What is Forest School Training? 

UK Forest School training typically combines theory with practical experience, covering areas such as child development, inclusive practice, environmental awareness, practical skills and risk–benefit assessment. Participants learn how to plan and lead sessions safely and ethically, while fostering independence, curiosity and a strong connection to the natural world.
