Do you love cars and enjoy learning about how they work? Or have you got a knack for it and think you could turn car maintenance into a career? Whether you’re an amateur or just have a keen interest, our car maintenance course is suitable for beginners and learners with keen interest. You’ll get a chance to learn the practical skills needed to work with cars and the theory behind it all.

- Health & safety in the workshop
- Engine systems components
- Steering and suspension systems
- Braking systems
- Routine maintenance processes and procedures
- Electrics and lighting systems
- How to work in the automotive environment
WORK EXPERIENCE
Study programmes include a minimum of compulsory work experience hours achieved through one day a week or block placements. The amount of hours required is dependent on the study programme.

Entry Requirements
You'll need to have achieved 2 or more GCSEs between grade 9-3 (previous grade structure A*-D)
Mature students without the above requirements will be considered.
