Course Overview
Crack the crust and uncover the magic of wild yeast fermentation. Join our Sourdough baking class and discover how to bake naturally leavened bread that’s full of flavour from scratch (no commercial yeast) just Flour, Water, Salt and time. This course takes place at our Stanmer Campus, at One Garden Brighton.

- How to maintain and feed a sourdough starter
- Mixing, folding and fermentation techniques
- Shaping, scoring and baking for a beautiful crust and airy crumb
- Tips for timing your bakes around your schedule

Funding Information
Students aged 19+ who are ordinarily resident in the UK, and not living in a devolved area will be eligible for a 40% tuition fee waiver through the Adult Skills Fund.
