Spend a wonderful day at One Garden Brighton, home of our Stanmer Campus, and learn from our expert Plumpton College Horticulture tutors, to learn new skills on making your own compost.
Making your own compost is a great way to bring environmentally friendly habits into your busy lifestyle. This one day workshop will give you an introduction into using your food and garden waste to create an excellent compost to help improve your garden soil.
During this one day workshop you will learn:
- What can be used to start creating your own compost
- Techniques to creating a healthy and strong compost
- The benefits of making and using your own compost
A day workshop to enjoy with friends and family or meet likeminded people.

The recent restoration of the walled garden has been managed by Plumpton College. One Garden Brighton is the home of the college’s horticultural centre of excellence, a space for training and education. The campus buildings are nestled within the walls itself and you will see students designing, planting and maintaining the grounds as a showcase for innovation.
