Course Overview
This course provides a comprehensive review of essential first aid knowledge and skills to deal with emergency situations in the hydrotherapy environment.
Modules
- The role of the first aider and legal compliance
- Safety in first aid situations
- Assessment of small animal first aid conditions, their classification and treatment
- Appropriate handing and restraint for first aid
- First aid equipment
- First aid procedures for a range of emergency situations
Assessment
You will be assessed throughout the day via a combination of tasks including but not limited to Q&A, practical demonstration or short quizzes.

£75.00.
Entry Requirements
- Must be a qualified small animal/canine hydrotherapist already working in industry, looking to complete their required refresher to maintain professional registration. Counts towards annual CPD requirements.
- Must be 18+
Course Fees
Students aged 24+ who are studying a second Level 3 course or aged 24+ who are studying their first Level 3 course will have to pay tuition fees, depending on the course.
Students on low income who can prove they earn less than £25,750 (from 1st August 2025); are unemployed; or receive state benefits could be entitled to a tuition fee waiver.
