Equine Facilitated Learning & Therapy

Plumpton College would like to welcome you with the opportunity to take part in our Equine Facilitated Learning and Therapy programme. If you are 19 years old and need some animal therapy time, this could be for you.

Working with horses aims to develop key life skills, including building relationships, communication, confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance.

During the course, you will receive the British Horse Society Achieve Awards. These awards are designed to give those with/ little or no prior equine knowledge an understanding of handling and caring for horses.

There may also opportunity to progress onto a further programme at Plumpton College should you wish to.

No prior horse experience necessary, just a love of animals. Must be 19+.
