Course Overview
Celebrate the arrival of spring by creating a sustainable Easter wreath designed to decorate your front door.
In this hands‑on college workshop, students will learn how to construct a wreath framework, then decorate it using eco‑friendly materials, seasonal plants, and natural foliage.
The session focuses on environmentally responsible floristry practices, using biodegradable, reusable, or natural materials wherever possible. Students will build confidence in practical floristry techniques while exploring design principles such as balance, texture, and seasonal colour.
All materials are provided, including sustainable wreath bases, seasonal foliage and plants, natural decorative elements, suitable for beginners and developing floristry students, this workshop encourages creativity, practical skills development, and an understanding of sustainability in contemporary floristry.
Students will leave with a finished Easter wreath, ready to hang on their front door, along with techniques that can be applied to future seasonal designs
Course Fees
Students aged 24+ who are studying a second Level 3 course or aged 24+ who are studying their first Level 3 course will have to pay tuition fees, depending on the course.
Students on low income who can prove they earn less than £25,750 (from 1st August 2025); are unemployed; or receive state benefits could be entitled to a tuition fee waiver.
