Course Overview
Plumpton College would like to welcome you with the opportunity to take part in our Changing Lives through Horses (CLtH) programme starting in June. If you are between 14-16 years of age and you have a love of horses, this course could be for you.
Through working with horses, the aim is to develop key life skills including -building relationships, communication, confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance.
On the course you will gain the British Horse Society (BHS) Achieve Awards. These awards are designed to give those with no/ little prior equine knowledge, an understanding of how to handle and care for horses. You will also gain a BHS Personal Development Certificate too.
There may also be an opportunity to progress onto a further programme at Plumpton College should you wish to.
The programme is run over 4 consecutive Saturdays and starts on 7th June 9-12pm.
