Our Forestry & Arboriculture department has grown significantly in the last two years, almost doubling in size. More and more young people are looking to establish themselves in this environmentally important sector and the industry is crying out for more higher skilled entrants to the sector.
The Plumpton Forestry & Arboriculture department can boast an impressive exclusive partnership with Jas P Wilson, Forestry Machinery Manufacturers, providing our learners with the most up to date forestry processing machinery and opportunities to exhibit for them at shows across the South East.
We are looking for Forestry & Arboriculture lecturers or Industry professionals looking to make a career change with a strong knowledge and background in Tree Science, surveying & Inspection and Estate Skills. Excellent up to date practical skills are also desirable with our in house NPTC training centre, LandPro, being able to upskill or refresh competency tickets where required.
Our experienced team of lecturers have a wealth of knowledge and industry expertise and will provide all the support required for anyone new to the education sector as well the teacher training and ongoing CPD schedule available for all staff here at the College.
