 Are you looking for your first step into teaching? 

This is an ideal role for an individual looking at entering the teaching profession with a supportive and progressive environment. Our in-house training will support your journey into teaching over the next 2 years from workshop instructing to classroom delivery.

The trainee Instructor/Teacher will report to the Workshop and Curriculum Managers for providing daily operational support to the Engineering & Motor Vehicle departments (Equipment & Students). The role includes instructing and assessing students in a range of practical tasks relating to Agricultural & Motor Vehicle engineering as well as providing specific one-to-one and small group student support within both the practical and theoretical learning environment.

We are delighted to work with the Education & Training Foundation as part of the ‘Taking Teacher Further’ programme, a national initiative funded by the Department for Education which will support successful candidates in achieving the Level 3 and 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or an equivalent/ higher level qualification as well as enabling the college to support you with a reduced timetable and opportunities for work shadowing and mentoring. This will build upon your existing industry and specialist motor vehicle qualification and experience.
