Join our team at Plumpton College as the Canine Therapy Course and Centre Manager and help us deliver outstanding commercial and educational services in this growing field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Centre Management: Plan and manage the operations of the Canine Therapy Centre, ensuring the highest standards of care, health, and safety for both animals and clients.
  • Educational Leadership: Lead the development and delivery of hydrotherapy and other canine therapy programmes, working closely with staff to provide students with industry-leading training.
  • Business Development: Identify and grow commercial opportunities within the centre, including hydrotherapy and physiotherapy services. Manage client bookings and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring exceptional standards of animal care, cleanliness, and client service.
  • Programme Management: Ensure academic programmes align with industry standards and student needs, monitoring performance and implementing quality improvement strategies.

The successful candidate will oversee the development of the commercial running of the Canine Therapies Centre and to deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment, to support students studying Apprenticeship, Further Education, and Higher Education programmes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field and significant experience in the animal industry
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Proven track record in budget and resource management
  • Ability to lead teams and work independently.
  • A registered hydro therapist who Ideally possesses relevant assessor and verifier qualifications
