We are currently looking for an enthusiastic front of house staff to join our friendly small team.
Semolina Bistro, established in 2014, is a small independent restaurant serving a homemade seasonal monthly changing menu along with wine, bottled beer, cocktails and coffee. The service we aim to provide is professional, warm and friendly.
Please do not apply unless you have an experience in a similar style restaurant.
Exceptional service standards, outstanding attention to detail, good team player with great communication skills, high hygiene standards are a must.
You should confidently and professionally be able to:
- Serve and clear plates
- Take orders, describe dishes and be able to find an answer to customers special requests
- Open a bottle of wine with cork and sparkling wine
- Have an interest in and knowledge of wine, cocktails and coffee (latte art is an advantage)
Pay starts at £9/hour plus holiday pay and tips. Tips are shared equally between the staff. Holidays are taken when the restaurant closes (Christmas, week in spring, couple of weeks in August).
This is a part time position, 2 - 3 shifts a week. Please specify your availability when applying if possible.
