New Hall vineyard in Essex is looking a cellar hand to join us for the upcoming vintage in our brand new winery! We anticipate producing in the region of 180000L this year including red, white, rose and fizz. The duration is expected to be around 6 to 8 weeks starting late August early September.
Duties will be varied but will include cellar upkeep, racking, loading and emptying presses, setting up pumps and lines for transfers, innoculations and additions. Flexibilty is essential.
This is a physically demanding role and any successful candidate would need to be willing and able to work long hours. Full training will be given to equip you with the necessary skills to make a solid contribution to the successful 2021 vintage.
Lab experience would be viewed positively.
Previous cellar experiece would be beneficial.
Accommodation on site will be available if required as well as a generous hourly rate of pay, depending on experience.
