Description

We are a small farm with Sussex cattle on Ashdown Forest and are looking for a part time stockman to manage our herd of 25 cattle.  The job is Monday-Friday for approx. 6-8 hours per week in the winter months from January- April and also managing the animals when we are away on holiday. It would involve:

Feeding haylage

Bedding, fresh straw when needed

Scraping yard - twice a week

Help with calving

Using tractor and machinary

Any general farm manintenance.
