Jackson Nugent Vintners is an established wine wholesaler who has been in the industry for over 30 years. We represent some of the most prestigious family-owned wineries from Chile, Argentina, South Africa, France and America in the UK. We are an ever-evolving company that is expanding our outlook in various aspects of the wine market.

As a result of us growing the company, your role at Jackson Nugent Vintners Ltd would be to work in the London and South of England market.


Responsibilities of the job include:

• Creating sales in the London market aiming for the restaurant, club, bar and retail market, alongside new enterprise ideas to increase sales.

• Organising and attending events with clients that require the support, staff training and tasting events with the various retail customers.

• Working alongside Julie Jackson M.D. to learn and work with the agency clients in the South and South East.

• Reporting on a weekly basis to the Directors of the company of the sales that have been achieved, targets to be set for the next week.

• Coming up with ideas for marketing the wines using social media

• Looking at the 25- 45 year old market for selling on-line, wine socials and events.

• Researching the corporate market- to set up wine clubs and get sales into executive market.

• Helping to source new wines for the portfolio

Location and Commitment

• Full time, Permanent

• Hours – flexibility will be needed on the hours due to commitments needed towards the clients. An 8 hour day would be required but the timings are flexible.

• Occasional overtime may be required

• Head office would be Wimbledon Village, which will be your base. There will be flexibility for home working too, and you will also be out seeing clients on an ongoing basis.

Salary and Remuneration

• Basic Salary to be discussed per annum

• Bonus to be agreed, paid quarterly

• Company Pension Scheme provided

• Annual Holiday 4 weeks plus 8 days bank holiday

• Expenses – to be passed by a director.
