Advanced Practitioner - Internal opportunity

As part of our ongoing development of teaching and learning we are looking to appoint a new Advanced Practitioner to support and develop our teaching staff, focused on programme management. This internal role involves mentoring and coaching teachers and programme managers, as well as contributing to cross-college CPD, training and quality assurance processes. In order to apply you will need to demonstrate a track record of delivering innovative, creative, high-quality teaching, substantial programme management experience and ideally have some experience of coaching and mentoring. A teaching qualification is a must, ideally to level 5 (DTLLS, Cert Ed.) or PGCE.
The role will provide 180 hours remission per year, which would equate to approximately 7 coaching and mentoring appointments per week plus the weekly Advanced Practitioner meeting. The role will also come with an honorarium of £3000 per annum (pro rata), to be paid monthly as part of your salary. This is a fixed term opportunity until the end of the 2019/2020 academic year.
