In light of Covid-19 and following on from a review of our existing system (Plumpton Online) we have taken the decision to move to Microsoft Teams as our virtual learning environment for this academic year.
We are excited to use this platform to create engaging and interactive resources for our students;
We understand that this is a change for students that are already studying at Plumpton but we look forward to guiding them around a fantastic new system, which will in turn provide them with transferable digital skills to take into the workplace.
Microsoft Teams can also be used on multiple devices such as smart phones, android phones and tablets and users can also access the platform using an internet browser such as Google Chrome.
Use the mobile application for Microsoft Teams to access your lesson resources for the academic year. Find out how to download Microsoft Teams here.
Microsoft Teams also has an immersive reader that allows students to access learning resources and change the page colour, text size, narrator voice, translator and word spacing.
You will receive full guidance about how to use Microsoft Teams for virtual lessons and to access resources when you have completed online enrolment, via our Student Induction Page.
Also, don't forget you need to sign the Personal Declaration to Remaining Covid-19 Secure before you return or start in college.
Since the original 400-acre College farm was bought back in 1919, Plumpton College has certainly seen a lot of changes.
