This is an excellent opportunity to provide strategic leadership and management of Plumpton College’s successful Education Pathways and Foundation Learning Division. Taking responsibility for leading the staff and student bodies and designing an ambitious curriculum, the successful candidate will exemplify high standards of teaching and learning, student achievement and progression.
The successful candidate will ensure that the division responds to labour market and student demand in its provision for Schools, Electively Home Educated and Foundation Learning cohorts. The Head of Education Pathways and Foundation Learning will undertake curriculum led financial planning to ensure budgets and resources are deployed carefully, monitoring cost utilisation and spend.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of leading strategic curriculum development in a related field as well as leading whole team change and improvement resulting in increased attainment. They will have experience of overseeing Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 provision in a schools environment, coupled with extensive experience of developing a Foundation Learning curriculum. With excellent interpersonal and communications skills, effective problem solving skills and an innovative approach they will be a strong budget manager with excellent IT skills.
