Jake Souch and Joel Robertson-Robinson, two level 3 blacksmithing students have had their final pieces selected for an international Blacksmithing exhibition being held in August.
The gate made by Jake Souch also won the Blacksmiths Shield at the south of England show. It was designed and made by Jake as his final project and has received a lot of acclaim from many professional blacksmiths both for its design and its construction.
The shelves have also been awarded a first prize in metal from the South of England Young Craftsmen competition.
Both Jake and Joel are working with local blacksmiths and are very proud to be selected for this exhibition.
Since the original 400-acre College farm was bought back in 1919, Plumpton College has certainly seen a lot of changes.
