Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club are now recruiting for three grounds persons to support the increase in grounds maintenance requirements across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in grounds maintenance within a sporting facility environment to join the expanding team.
These roles will be responsible for undertaking sports turf maintenance and associated grounds work. Candidates must have experience of working in an outdoor environment and using powered equipment and machinery. Candidates must adhere to the highest standards of health & safety and hold a certificate in N.P.T.C pa1, pa2 and pa6, pesticide usage or be prepared to receive such training. The successful candidates will be prepared to become a member of the Institute of Groundsmanship and will preferably have an understanding of Health and Safety at Work principles.
There will be a minimum of 40 hours per week and the post holders must be flexible with regards to working hours as these will be dependent on match fixtures and usage of the facilities. These roles will be based across three locations; the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing, the American Express Community Stadium and pitches at the University of Sussex.
