The North West Kent Countryside Partnership is a not-for profit organisation, hosted by Kent County Council. We are one of eight Countryside Partnerships working across Kent to improve wildlife and environment through involving communities.

NWKCP exists to protect and enhance the wildlife and green spaces of North West Kent though community action and involvement, and through this to improve the wellbeing of local people. Much of our work is carried out by volunteers, and we endeavour to create projects that will have a positive effect on their physical and mental health. We also carry out education work in local school and green spaces, to help young people learn about and connect with the natural world.

We are recruiting a full time Partnership Officer to help deliver our wide range of countryside management and community projects.

Part of a small and friendly team, you will be based in our office in Bexley and work across the boroughs of Bexley, Dartford, Gravesham and Sevenoaks.
The job role includes projects such as habitat surveys and writing site management plans, developing community gardens, river enhancements, leading our volunteer group to deliver practical countryside management and habitat restoration, writing funding bids, leading wellbeing sessions in green spaces and much more.
