Full-time Farm and Livery Supervisor

Worth Abbey Farm and woodlands is 167 Ha (412 acres) of permanent pasture and mature hardwood and softwood trees with a DIY livery offering 34 stables along with a flock of 150 breeding Lleyn ewes.
We are looking for a Farm and Livery Supervisor to assist a small team tasked with improving and developing the overall Worth Abbey farm business.
The role will suit candidates who are motivated by the challenge of making actual improvements to the estate and developing business profitability. You will be working with the Farm Manager to develop and action the strategic plan for the farm, livery and woodlands operation at Worth Abbey.
The successful person must be able to operate farm machinery including driving a tractor and be capable of general farm and livery maintenance jobs. Ideally, you will have experience of working within an equestrian or livery yard business environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy a mix of practical farm work and office administrative tasks. Good verbal and writing skills are required to communicate effectively with the customers, Worth school staff, Worth Abbey residents and the general public who all interact with the farm and livery from time to time.
This is a full time position starting as soon as possible, working 40 hours per week including weekend work as part of a rota.
