We believe that everyone deserves high quality careers guidance in order to make informed decisions about their future. Therefore, as a Plumpton student, you’ll have access to specialist careers advice, information and guidance to help you to make the right choice and achieve beyond the course you’re studying.
We support our students to explore their interests, skillset and ambitions to develop and achieve their career aspirations and goals. Each student at Plumpton will have access to 1:1 careers guidance interviews, 1:1 next steps interviews, group sessions, as well as a variety of workshops and events designed to support and add value to their academic and vocational experience, providing students with the tools they need to succeed. Strategic Careers Leader for the College is Jo Buckley (Head of Faculty: Agri-Food & Environment, Animal Management, Veterinary Nursing & Dog Grooming, Sport & Equine).
Operational Careers Leader for 2019/20 is Karen Stalker, who is based in the Careers Hub.
